Suhasini is not your average baker. With a strong background in the arts, she explored pottery and photography before dedicating herself to the delightful world of baking. But her story began long before that.

Born in New Delhi and raised among the serene hills of Shillong and Dehradun, Suhasini's baking journey started as a child, drawing inspiration from her mother. And now, life has come full circle as she inspires her niece, Mahira, to embark on baking adventures.

Suhasini's baking style is distinctive and captivating. Her creations have a rustic aesthetic, reminiscent of the earthy glaze on one of her pottery masterpieces. Each cake is meticulously crafted with love and precision, resulting in a gastronomic experience that delights both the eyes and the taste buds.

And here at Chocolate and Tonk, our name holds a special meaning. It pays homage to a café in an anime that Suhasini adored during her formative years. The café symbolised a place of comfort, warmth, and camaraderie for her, and she wanted her brand to evoke the same emotions.
